August is a special month as we celebrate Singapore’s 61st birthday and give thanks for God’s faithful hand upon our nation through the years.

We have also been richly blessed with religious freedom, and with Christians making up about 18.9% of the population. We do not take this privilege for granted.

1 Tim 2:1-2 calls us to give thanks for, pray for and bless our leaders.

As EL joins in the nation’s celebrations, let us take time to pray for Singapore, asking for God’s continued favor upon our little red dot. May Singapore remain the Antioch of Asia, fulfilling her destiny as a nation that blesses and impacts the world for God’s glory.
