I. JESUS – WHAT HAS HE GOT TO DO WITH ME?
One of the most known verses from the Bible says:
The Book of John
Chapter 3, Verse 16.
The next verse adds:
“For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”
(The Book of John, Chapter 3, Verse 17)
God sent Jesus to save the world. He did not come to condemn or judge any person. Including you.
The Christian message is about a loving God who sent His only son, Jesus, to provide a pathway for you to enjoy eternal life and not be condemned.
You may ask, “Why do I or anyone need saving?” Find out in the next section.

Thus, the Bible offers:
“The gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (The Book of Romans, Chapter 6, Verse 23)
This is good news. We can enjoy eternal life in Jesus! There is more good news. We can be reconciled with God.
“God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them.” (The Book of 2 Corinthians, Chapter 5, Verse 19)

Jesus has paid the price for your sin. This is what the Christian term as “the Gospel”. All it takes is a simple step of faith in believing that Jesus died for your sins and ask Him to save you.
