I like to read biographies of missionaries. People like Adoniram Judson, Hudson Taylor and Jim Elliot inspire me. They were bold to venture out when God called them to places that they had never been. Whatever the cost, they obeyed. These stories were the foundation of my stepping out into fulltime Christian service.
Today in our church, we have Pastor Annie, Sis Jenny, Pastor Richard, his wife Clara and others who are serving God in fulltime missions. Many members have gone for EL mission trips to other countries. If you ask them, they will share stories of faith and tell you about the amazing work of God.
Our church’s Missions Emphasis falls on the first 2 Sundays of March. Jesus says, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.” (Mark 16:15) Let us follow His command and experience God’s power in our life!
