The end of the year is upon us. Our 2024 plans have not been accomplished. Exams are coming. We have to achieve our sales target. We must finish our projects before we can go for our holidays. Why does the year pass so fast? Is it normal that November is the month of “hurry”?
In times our that, I find it therapeutic to read and reflect on Psalm 23. The first 3 verses calm and soothe my spirit.
“The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters, He refreshes my soul.”
I imagine myself lying on green meadows with flowing waters surrounded by majestic mountains. How lovely it is to rest in a place like this!
That’s how God takes care of us as the Shepherd. He provides our material, emotional and spiritual needs.
I encourage you to meditate on God’s word. Allow them to sink into your heart. You will experience all that God says.
